MTO's action on Corona (COVID-19) virus
In light of the novel Corona (COVID-19) pandemic,
MTO acknowledges that it has a duty of care to its concert patrons, members and volunteers.
Acordingly, we will monitor the emerging circumstances and government directives and respond accordingly
These responses may include:
----cancellation or postponement of events
---provision of warning signs (e.g. those with cold or 'flu symptoms should not enter the auditorium)
---provision of hand sanitiser for use before tea/coffees etc.
---compliance with other requirements imposed by the venues or government
---urging patrons not to attend events if at particular risk
---establish a policy of refunding patrons (including pro-rata on season tickets) if they choose not to attend an event
MTO will continuously monitor and manage the risks associated with this difficult situation and provide regular updates
In accordance with the above information and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,
the MTO committee has determined that all activities up to and including the end of July will be cancelled.
A review of circumstances will be held at end of June, when further planning will be undertaken.
Current as of 2 June 2020
